Babylonpedia

I know I haven't been updating lately but Art college does get alittle hard but I'm keeping up. Anyway as I have been doing many stories  have thougt of creating a wiki to share my ideas with those who have read the Babylon stories. So I decided to collect images of artworks, photos and scenes from games, movies and TV series that would fit the descriptions of the articles.

You may have seen the images from earlier they will be in the Wiki also. I may be the only one who is doing this but I know what to do so I hope one day it becomes popular like many wikis people have created.

My ideas for the aliens in Babylon

I had thought about how the Zan Ghouls would appear when taking a host as their own. I imagined them with simply semi-humanoid forms. Recreate the body's structure and completes the process.

The Sovra

The Sovra are a highly advance but nomadic species who decented from a group of Zan Ghouls that were cut off from the hive centuries ago and later became natives to the Okolira Nebula along with other species that thrive there

Kal-Dolra

Kal-Dolra are a proud warrior race who fight ight with honor and nelieve themselves to be know the meaning of a true warrior. They would only challange their opponent if they are strong with spiritual sensity abilities which to them is a sign of great strength

The Ummit

The Ummit were the most feared, warlike and an extragalactic race from the planet Nibiru in the Andromeda Galax over thousans of years ago. Conquered nearly all of the galaxy for centuries, believing themselves to be 'children of the gods' for surviving the destruction of their ansectral homeworld.

Zan Ghoul hive worlds

This image is from the battlestar Galactica series because I admired how these were made an thought of one.

"The Zan Ghouls came in numbers near orbit of our planet to invade and cull the dead after the invasion. Eclipsing the sky with the star-shaped vessels these creatures travel through space. The hiveworlds were constructed out of many ships the Zan Ghouls had salvaged into a huge star-shaped vessel, home to hundreds and thousands of Zan Ghouls that thrive within them. Their own semi-sentience are able to adapt to any known enemy attacks, generate powerful shields to deflect them and upgrade their weapons. The hiveworlds are not only metallic but entirely bio-engineered and are able to regenerate any damage, inside or out. Any passing ship see any of these huge ships would be the last thing they encoutner or flee the first moment they see it.  FictionPress.Net: [link]

Galtoshrion head shot

This is a head shot of what a Galtoshrion shoud look like, I gotten the idea from some anime series I liked the purple one the most probably the way it fights so I will upload it to deviantart when I get home and fill you in about them.

The river-shaped nebula was discovered to be home to many species such as the Sovra who evovled from Zan Ghouls: Link Link

Art Project; Andromeda Map

This is what I'm working on next. It was hard finding a map of this galaxy, Andromeda I had to choos this one because I thought it was would be better showing the actual image. My tutor said it would be better if I used feather effects around the text to make it stand out.

Mars; the Driad homeworld

This is what I imagined of what Mars looked like; covered in lushful forests breathable atmosphere and even plants that act like living animals. I even tried making the trees look huge and look webbed to eachother. You could also see the large three legged alien that wonders through the forests. My tutor said I should checkl out the war of the worlds movie, which give me some good ideas. I got the idea of the tripod from war of the worlds movie and thought maybe this is what some of the martian lifeforms may have been.

The Mant'ra

Here is the first version of the Mant'ra, unfortunatly the scanner left out a few lighter pencil marks but at last I've come up with the design and will do another soon.

I think I have learned a lot about working on my fantasy drawings on blog - I have used different p[encil and line techniques - but most of all Kevin has shown me lots of new tricks on PhotoShop. I can now puit video and animation together and put it all up on a website which I could not doe before. I also have some of my own video work up on Youtube,

Vahl'ri

Here is a new alien I've made I call it a Vahl'ri with a flag symbol of it's race. I haven't got anything else to say about it but there will be on deviant art to know all about it.

Milky Way Galaxy

Here is a picture of my work, the names of star systems, planets and locations are my ideas. I pt colours to know which is a planet or a system: The orange are planet and the blue are star systems just so people wouldn't be confused which is which.
